"We rented an apartment and had arranged dinner in Vineria Modi. Where we parked our car people dumped rubbish and it was even difficult for us to get past it and load the bags in our car. "

" Taormina is a beautiful city worth visiting. It is a natural jewel of Sicilia which offers a great choice of attractions including ancient cites, amazing sightseeing, authentic Sicilian food and diverse shopping. "

"Taormina itself is over crowded. Getting to the old city center is tough, even with a car. 9/10 people bang the car in this terrible vertical parking garage. Many restaurants provide low value, terrible service, mediocre food for high prices. Wheelchair accessibility is terrible. Overall, a very beautiful city ruined by greed and over-tourism. Much nicer places outside of Taormina."

"Troppi turisti per ottobre. Mi spiace che grazia alle turisti, non esistono piccoli negozie come macellerie, frutterie etc nel centro. Solo negozie souvenirs. I prezzi sono troppo alti. I ristoranti non cuocciono con cuore e orgoglio, ma solo per le monete, peccato."
