"We loved the fact Taormina was so clean and graffiti free. Palermo and Catania were so filthy.
The city is beautiful, picturesque and the best part of Sicily we visited so far. Thank you for keeping the city so clean!"

"Taormina is gorgeous, the nights in Taormina are romantic and lovely. Excellent restaurants. We are not likely to return, because it is really far from where we live, otherwise would come back in a heart bit. One big problem we had with our trip was Isola Bella visit. It is highly overrated, the crowds are ridiculous, the service people at the Lido are rude and pushy. Terrible beach experience. "

"The roads were difficult to walk around on, not enough pedestrian walk ways. The bathrooms in establishments on the whole are not clean, nor well supplies with necessities like TP, Towels or soap. The beaches are way to Rocky, except for Naxon and that wasn't very large nor set up for Beach combers- no public resr rooms or snack bar? My best experience was the 2 hr. Boat tour, which included the deep water swim & Isla Bella, that was so unique and intriguing to get there (purchase of swim shoes) necessary, but worth the mystery unveiled."

"Buses can be running till 23.30. Taxis asked crazy money for short distances. "

"Extortionate parking prices on the Mazarro bay area is a real issue if you are staying in accommodation there. But the bay is a lovely place to stay, to snorkely Bella Island and escape the busy town via the very easy cable car"
