"Lovely beautiful vibrant Taormina worth visiting again and again. We stayed in a very cosy and well furnished Mediterranean Apartment Taormina, in the best location you could imagine. Highly recommend! "

"La località , oltre ad essere incantevole, presenta molti aspetti positivi soprattutto se visitata in periodi con minor affluenza , come nel mio caso (ottobre 2025) - ho riscontrato molta gentilezza e disponibilità spontanea nei confronti del turista e constatato ovunque un forte senso di appartenenza orgogliosa alla regione Sicilia. Efficienti i servizi di trasporto sia per il collegamento con l'aeroporto di Catania sia per chi desidera visitare luoghi limitrofi - le strade sono molto pulite e i locali che ho frequentato sono stati all'altezza del luogo rinomato qual è. Consiglierei senz'altro a chiunque di visitare Taormina e la Sicilia in generale."

"Restaurants where not always good- overall the food in Taormina is not as good and fresh as in Amalfi Coast. also Restaurant staff in many places were not as friendly as I am used to Italy"

"Transport information is often incorrect or misleading. Too many vehicles allowed in town. Visitors’ vehicles should be banned."

"Magnifique petite ville côtière avec ses rues à méandre remplies de jolies boutiques et restaurants. Et que dire du château juché au sommet…à voir!"

"Tourism tax is way too much for low season. You need to make a low season fee that is lower from eg. 1/11-15/4.
You will need to support and encourage people to travel in low season. And you can do that by a small economic incentive. And you should also totally REMOVE hotel tax from people staying +10 days. Those are the best tourists you can get. So let the ones staying in 2-3-4 days the tax - and then make it smaller for 6-10 nights. And if you stay +10 nights it should be FREE.
The longer people stay - the less chaos/traffic you will get.
Make cruise-excursions not welcome. Those tourists are ruining the city - staying 3 hours, not shopping just taking up space.
To make it cheaper to STAY longer and then make it harder to be there just 3 hours. "

"Taormina is the most beautiful city in Sicily. I've been here twice and will definitely return. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the Sicilian atmosphere and be enchanted by this extraordinary hilltop city."
