"Troppi turisti per ottobre. Mi spiace che grazia alle turisti, non esistono piccoli negozie come macellerie, frutterie etc nel centro. Solo negozie souvenirs. I prezzi sono troppo alti. I ristoranti non cuocciono con cuore e orgoglio, ma solo per le monete, peccato."

"Beautiful city almost ruined by many large tour groups between 10am and 5pm. They wander about slowly, oblivious to other people and stop in the middle of the street and make it impossible for others to pass. Limit the number of groups or size of groups. "

"You need to regulate the taxi service. Set prices for key destinations eg. The airport. Every driver I asked gave me a different price and the cheapest was to book online. Very disappointing to feel as a tourist we were being taken advantage of. We ate at some nice restaurants and enjoyed that. We just found Taormina isolated and limited in what we could do. Unfortunately not what we were hoping for on our holiday. Also paying tourist tax in person is ridiculous. It should be added into the accommodation booking and the hotel or host can forward it on. "
