"Taormina is a historical and very beautiful city. It is also very busy but worth to visit definitely. I enjoyed the visit. There are lots of shops and nice restaurants with tasty food and beautiful view over the shore. "

"Excellent scenery, wonderful history, great shops, amazing cafes and restaurants. My only criticism is that there are steps and slopes everywhere so this is certainly not a city that's kind to persons with accessibility problems."

"Taormina was one of the best places I have had the pleasure to visit. Fantastic restaurants and beautiful sights. We had the opportunity to got to a candlelit sessions in the amphitheater playing Queen&Coldplay. Also visited Mount Etna which was amazing. As we were arriving to Taormina on 29th august, there was lava coming down the mountain after the eruption that day. Myself and my wife will definitely be back for more. "

"We were accosted on the train into Taormina by a local telling us to go back home. That ruined our enjoyment of the area. Better security is needed on the trains to ensure safety on traveling to the area. "
